Safeguarding

Keeping children safe is our number one priority here at Pennine Way. Every day we are trusted to look after children both in school and when we take them into the wider community and we take this responsibility extremely seriously.

To aid staff, parents, children, governors and visitors to understand all of our procedures we have organised them on this page on our website. Most are aimed at adults but some are more child friendly and we ask that you share them with your children.

Should you have any concerns at all to do with safety of yours or any other children please do not hesitate to contact us here at Pennine Way. The designated safeguarding leads for the school are as follows.

Senior Designated Safeguarding Lead: Miss H Wallis

Deputy Safeguarding Leads: Mr R Mansfield, Mrs C Hughes, Mrs J Braybrooke, Mrs J Nevitt, Mrs D Edwards

Governor Safeguarding Lead: Mr A Lee

If you have any safeguarding concerns these can be reported here:  safeguarding@pennineway.derbyshire.sch.uk

Whilst this email address is always monitored, we may not be able to respond as quickly out of working hours, at weekends and during school holidays as we would during the school day.

You can also contact "Call Derbyshire" on 01629 533190.

If you think a child is at immediate risk of harm call the police on 999.
