Pupil Premium 2016/17
Pupil Premium is additional funding that is made available to all schools in the country. The amount of funding a school receives is based on the number of children who have been in receipt of FSM (Free School Meals) at any time in the last six years multiplied by £1300.00.
The Government believe that Pupil Premium is the best way to address the inequalities between families with differing incomes. Such circumstances can often lead to differing educational and social outcomes.
At Pennine Way the Governors use this additional funding in a wide variety of ways and this ‘Pupil Premium strategy’ is designed to inform all stakeholders how we intend to spend our money. The impact statement shows how well our Pupil Premium children did in 2015/16.
