Business Manager
18.5 hours per week
Salary - £36,742 FTE (Actual salary - £18,371)
We wish to appoint a highly motivated person with financial experience, preferably within an educational setting, who has the ability to work within a dynamic school environment. In addition, he/she should possess budget management experience; the ability to gather, analyse and evaluate data to produce reports as well as HR and Safeguarding experience.
The School Business Manager will provide strategic leadership in the areas of Finance, Safeguarding, Health and Safety, HR and Administration. They will work alongside the Headteacher, as we continue to develop our successful school.
We are looking for someone who:
Will contribute to the development of the school through our Leadership Team;
Has the ability to inspire colleagues, peers and teams whilst working under pressure to meet tight deadlines;
Has a good understanding of financial procedures;
Has an enthusiasm for working in an educational environment;
Has excellent communication skills.
Due to this post having access to children and/or vulnerable adults, the successful candidate will be required to undertake a Disclosure and Barring Service check.
