Teaching Assistant

 

20 hours per week – Fixed Term - Term Time only

Salary - £18,746 FTE (Actual salary - £9,746.39)

 

Pennine Way Junior Academy are looking for enthusiastic, highly motivated and caring Teaching Assistants to join our team, initially through to the end of the academic year.

We are a highly aspirational school and we were judged as good by OFSTED in November 2019.

The person(s) appointed should have high expectations for all pupils and should be committed to the schools’ vision, values and ethos.  

Due to this post having access to children and/or vulnerable adults, the successful candidate will be required to undertake a Disclosure and Barring Service check. The possession of a criminal record will not necessarily prevent an applicant from obtaining this post, as all cases are judged individually according to the nature of the role and information provided.
