Business Manager Position –start date March 2021
Temporary Contract to cover Maternity Leave
Salary dependent on experience
The Governors of Pennine Way Junior Academy wish to appoint a temporary Business Manager to cover a period of Maternity Leave. The role is part-time; approximately 2 days per week.
We are looking for a flexible candidate with a can do attitude to cover this period. There may be an opportunity to work from home, particularly during the current pandemic. Hours can be flexible to suit existing home and family commitments.
We have an excellent, vibrant staff who enjoy working at Pennine Way, and all applicants will need to be team players. The right candidate will need to have a background in finance, accounting or book keeping and a knowledge of HR and Payroll would be advantageous. A handover period has been factored in and ongoing support will be offered.
We are an academy and are therefore self–governing, meaning that the successful applicant will become an employee of the ‘Academy Trust’ rather than the Local Authority. This autonomy has many advantages. We work very closely with our colleagues across Derbyshire and benefit from ‘The Best of Both Worlds’!
